Hi, I’m Nkenge.

I’m Nkenge Bryant, founder of Cookie’s Topflight Enrichment. With over 10 years as a Texas educator and master’s degrees in social work and education, I bring a background in teaching, listening, and supporting people as they grow.

I know how discouraging learning can feel when a child struggles—and how uncertain a new direction can feel for an adult. My approach starts with encouragement, thoughtful questions, and practical steps that fit the person in front of me.

For tutoring, I draw on my training in literacy and supporting diverse learners. In coaching, our focus is your goals, your choices, and the next steps you want to take.

Who is tutoring for?

Reading and writing tutoring is offered for learners in grades 4–8.

Where do sessions take place?

Tutoring is available virtually and in person in the Johnson County, Texas area. Session location is arranged individually.

What is a free literacy diagnostic?

An initial conversation and literacy check to identify the learner’s strengths, needs and next steps.

What happens during the coaching consultation?

We talk about your goals and questions for 20 minutes and explore whether coaching is a good fit.

Is coaching the same as counseling?

No. Life and career coaching focuses on goals and practical action steps; it is not psychotherapy, diagnosis, or mental health treatment.

Does an inquiry reserve an appointment?

No. Appointments are confirmed personally after availability and details are discussed.
